In-Home Support Worker - 2 positions available (full time and part time)
Field of activities
Under the authority of the Executive Director, and under the supervision of the In-Home Support Manager, the In-Home Support Worker provides in-home care services such as, basic food preparation, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, and other errands for a wide range of clients including seniors aging at home, patient’s post-surgery, and individuals with disabilities living at home.

Pre-requisites

Secondary school required;
-
Must have strong written and oral communication skills;
-
Must be able to communicate in two of the three languages (English, French, Mohawk);

Must be able to work both autonomously and within a team setting;
-
Must have initiative, good organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, be flexible, and responsible;

Aid/C.P. R training is mandatory (Provided by the Kanesatake Health Center Inc.);

Valid Quebec Driver License;

Must have own vehicle;

An understanding of the health, social and community service sector;

An understanding of the Mohawk culture is required;

Working conditions
- Type of position:
- Full Time – 35 hours/week (One Position)
- Part Time – Under 35 hours/week (One Position)
- Salary: As per the Kanesatake Health Center's salary scale
- Probation period: 6 months
